Hello!

I'm Hillary! A woman of many titles: Designer, Visual Storyteller, Art Director, Expert Font Identifier, Dogspotter, and Proud Plant Parent. In the early 2000s internet boom, I discovered the world of design by learning how to code and teaching myself how to make graphics for my Gaia or Neopets pages, a fansite I ran with other creative strangers, and customizing my Myspace layouts. I’ve always been a curious spirit, self-starter, and independent learner. After a decade of exploring digital spaces, in May 2017, I graduated from NYU with a B.S. in Integrated Digital Media. Now, I'm a mid level multidiscplinary graphic designer specializing in brand and growth/performance marketing design. And I'm looking for a new opportunity in the tech space! Most recently, I was at ZipRecruiter and have 3 years of experience at this high growth tech startup designing for B2B. I also freelanced at Honeybee Health, an online pharmacy startup designing B2C. Before that, I was designing at NYU for 2 years. My design process is best described as research-intensive, human-centered, iterative, intentional, and experimental. My plants inspire me to grow even when life gets hard.
